ALC accepts students who are 18-20 years of age and has met one of the following eligibility categories to apply for the GED examination through a High School Eqivalency Preparation program (HSEP). Documentation of eligibility is required  letter from high school verifying withdrawal or graduation date.

Students can submit a completed Nassau BOCES application documenting that their school district will pay for their attendance in an ESL or GED course.
