The Adult Learning Center is a comprehensive program in adult literacy and career development. We offer free courses to eligible adult students that help them: Learn to speak, listen, read, write and understand English. Improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, English grammar and math. Build self-confidence, explore career potential, and develop job-readiness skills. Prepare for the Citizenship test and to learn how to participate in community activities. Obtain computer literacy through computer-assisted learning, which is integrated with all courses in our five computer labs. Learn applied computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. Prepare for entry to college or training programs. |
